Agrilyze Introduces Students to Top Career Picks

BCAITC is excited to announce a new partnership with Agrilyze! This collaboration brings leading-edge ag-tech career information to students and educators throughout British Columbia. The resources provide the next generation of young skilled technical workers with industry knowledge and insight to consider careers in farming based on the most modern practices available.

The ag-tech sector is a vital part of our provincial and national economy and a growing source of both income and investment. As home to over 150 ag-tech companies, BC is a hotspot for jobs for an energetic young generation eager to learn, grow, and succeed!

BC is rapidly advancing new knowledge and modern product solutions to respond to the opportunities and challenges related to global issues like climate change, food security, food safety, and increased pressures on agricultural land. Students that want to be part of this exciting innovation landscape should consider a career in BC’s rewarding ag-tech industry!

Agrilyze has produced a series of high-quality educational resources that highlight a range of ag-tech careers – such as Drone Operator, Agronomist, Sustainability Analyst, Urban Farmer, Food Scientist, and more. Designed by the knowledgeable Agrilyze team, these profiles highlight “modern farming” as an essential part of the economy and way of life. Grades 8-12 students, teachers, and home educators can download the profiles 24/7 to learn about BC ag-tech occupations.

This educational project aims to empower students to be digitally-savvy and embrace business automation processes early in their careers, while also enabling them to make informed decisions about their future career choices.
