Do you have a passion for learning more about agriculture? Or are you a seasoned or new teacher with a hunger to cultivate your knowledge of agriculture while bringing fresh, engaging content to your classroom? If your answer is a resounding "Yes!", then register for the BC Agriculture in the Classroom (BCAITC) and UBC Faculty of Education's Summer Institute course held in Abbotsford, BC.

 

Why Join Us?

At the Summer Institute, we're not just about lectures and note-taking. We believe in active participation and hands-on learning. Whether you're teaching kindergartners or high school seniors, our program is designed to equip you with the tools and resources you need to seamlessly integrate agricultural concepts into your lessons. Note: Summer Institute is open to anyone with a passion for learning about agriculture. You do not need to be a current educator to take the course.

How to Join?

The Summer Institute offers both a three-credit course option and non-credit participation. Visit the UBC Faculty of Education's website to register and for more information. Hurry, though – the application deadline is typically in the first week of June, but spots fill up fast!
