In 2012, Agriculture in the Classroom Canada worked collectively on the initiative to declare one week in early March as the Canadian Agriculture Literacy Week. Due to popular demand, this program has now grown to last an entire month. Agriculture will come alive in Canadian classrooms as students participate in activities to learn about, connect to, and understand this important industry. Events and activities will run throughout the month to celebrate the fact that agriculture is all around us, every day!

BC schools will be participating in The Great Big Crunch, reading Alex's First Seed with the Spuds in Tubs program and learning about careers in agriculture with genAG.
