Gardening Camps 2026
Important information to get you excited!
**PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU REGISTER **
🎉AGE RESTRICTIONS: Camps at Pencil Patch - AG Adventures are designed for children ages 6-11. Children must be 6 years of age or older on the day of the program.
❤️HEALTH/ILLNESS: Please note that wearing a mask does not excuse or negate the presence of active cold or flu symptoms – campers are not permitted to attend camps if experiencing/displaying active cold or flu symptoms and may be sent home at staff’s discretion.
🌈PROGRAM LOGISTICS: Camps will take place outdoors rain or shine, with some covered outdoor spaces available for lunchtime and stationary activities. Please ensure campers are dressed for the weather and have additional layers or a change of clothes available if needed. Indoor spaces are limited and only available in instances of extreme weather or other safety hazards. Youth attending our programs should be prepared to use porta-potties located in the Garden.
🌟Please consider these factors when determining if this program is the right fit.
We are unable to provide refunds or credits (either complete or partial) for the following situations:
- Cancellation requests made with less than three weeks’ (21 days’) notice
- Cancellation requests made over the phone, by voicemail, or in person
- Expulsion due to disruptive/unsafe behaviour, inappropriate fit for program, or similar
- Absence from a program due to illness, injury, travel, family, or similar
- Public Health Regulations/Restrictions, as mandated by the Federal and/or Provincial governments

Summer Camp - 2026 Registration is Open Now!
Explore, Experience, Discover. Summer Gardening Camp is a hands-on and educational day camp designed for children ages 6-12! This engaging program provides a fun, safe, and enriching environment where young learners will explore the wonders of plants, nature, sustainability, and gardening basics. During the summer months, as gardens flourish and the sun shines bright, children will dive into the full growth process, from seed to harvest. Through interactive activities, outdoor exploration, and creative arts, campers will develop valuable practical skills while enjoying the vibrant energy of summer and building a deeper connection to the natural world around them.
Full Day Camps Cost – $200/week* Time - 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

CAMP WEEK 1: Animals on the farm July 27-31
Does your child love animals? This exciting week brings the farm to life!
Join us for a fun week of learning about the many animals that can be found on BC farms. Campers will dive into the fascinating world of livestock, as well as exploring the insects and wildlife that coexist with our farms and gardens. Through engaging activities including caring for our garden goats, creating bird feeders, and exploring the secrets of pollinators and bees, campers will develop a deep appreciation for the natural world around them!
CAMP WEEK 2: From Seed to Supper August 10-14
Watch your child discover the magic of growing food from the ground up!
How does one tiny seed grow into a plentiful harvest? This week, campers will investigate the life cycle of a garden plant, become seed ID experts, and participate in other hands-on learning activities in the garden. Campers will learn valuable gardening skills, including weeding, watering, and harvesting techniques, and develop an appreciation for the rewarding work of growing and harvesting their own food!
CAMP WEEK 3: Splash and Sprout August 17-21
Get ready for a week of splashes, sunshine, and discovery!
Campers will explore how water helps BC farms thrive and why it’s so important to protect it. Campers will make a splash investigating how water is used on BC farms with a focus on learning about water conservation. During the week, campers will get hands on by inventing their own irrigation systems, exploring different methods of filtering water, and having fun in the sun with some water-based games!
