We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented multi-tasking wizard to join our team as Finance & Operations Coordinator. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role is key to the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the BC Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation (BCAITC).

This new position is responsible for office administration and operational coordination, as well as supporting the contract bookkeeper with finance-related assistance. The ideal candidate is highly organized and efficient, analytical but thinks big picture and is comfortable balancing financial accuracy with multi-department operations coordination in a fun, mission-driven and collaborative team environment. We are looking for someone who is highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, with a service-focused orientation and strong communication and interpersonal skills. At least two years’ experience in bookkeeping, financial administration or operations with a Canadian nonprofit or charity is required,

with post-secondary education in Finance, Business Administration or a related field preferred.

BCAITC is a non-profit, charitable organization that works with educators to bring BC agriculture and food education to K-12 students throughout the province. Together with farmers, teachers and agricultural specialists, we educate BC students about where their food comes from, how to grow their own food, and why farms and agriculture play such an important role in our communities and society.
